File Permis­sions

chmod
775 fileChange file permis­sions to 775
chmod 
-R 600 folderRecurs­ively chmod folder to 600

user.g­roup file Change file owner to user and group to group

File Permission Numbers

The first number is the owner permis­sion, second is group and third is ever­yone
Calculate permission digits by adding the number below:

suid=4421421421
sgid=2rwxrwxrwx
